Non-active ingredients:
Puree of freeze dried lemon, apricot,
citric acid, potassium bicarbonate, natural vanilla flavor
Features and Benefits:
N-acetyl cysteine is needed in the
formation of glutathionine, which is required for glutathione conjugation
Glycine, L-ornithine, L-methionine and magnesium taurate are substrates
required for amino acid conjugation
Choline and L-methionine are both
involved in methylation
Limonene has been shown to increase the level of
glutathione conjugation enzymes
Watercress increases detoxification via
glucuronidation
Ellagic acid induces detoxification via both glutathione
conjugation and glucuronidation
Indole-3-carbinol and green tea extract
both increase the activity of glutathione-S-transferase leading to enhanced
glutathione conjugation
Molybdenum is used as a co-factor for Phase 2
sulfation
Fructooligosaccharides, via their bifidogenic effect, decrease
the deconjugation rate of toxins excreted via the bile. This decrease
re-absorption of toxins in the gatrointestinal tract
Vitamin C reduces the
production of free radicals that are generated in Phase 1 of the
detoxification
Blueberry, blackcurrent, black cherry and blackberry reduce
the production of free radicals that are generated in Phase 1 and balance Phase
1 and Phase 2
Silymarin and indole-3-carbinol from brassica plants are
potent stimulators of Phase 1 and Phase 2 reactions and have intense
antioxidant properties
Calcium glucarate prevents Phase 2 conjugates from
being deconjugated, thereby accelerating excretion.
