PHYSIOLOGY:
New encapsulated colloidal calcium can increase absorption and utilization to nearly 100%. The term 'Colloidal' refers to a substance that consists of ultra-fine particles that do not dissolve, but remain suspended in a medium of different matter. These ultra fine particles are larger than most molecules, but so small they cannot be seen by the naked eye. These particles are electrically charged to activate the germicidal quality of the vitamins and allow the particles to remain suspended in the solution of deionized water. Each capsule supplies a constant, consistent concentration of calcium that allows superior control of calcium intake. Also, since the encapsulated calcium particles have not previously come into contact with water, there is no chance of long-term chemical reaction with water that would convert the calcium to an electrolytic state and make it unavailable for bone building.

INDICATIONS:
The primary function of calcium is the development and maintenance of bone and teeth. The elderly, in particular, are vulnerable. As we age, we also have a tendency to reduce our dietary intake of calcium. To compensate for this lack, the body begins taking calcium from the bones, thinning them and making them brittle in the process. Osteoporosis is the classic deficiency symptom of prolonged poor intake of calcium.

The Calcium in this product is finely ground to particles of less than one micron in size which, upon hydration, form a colloidal suspension.
