PHYSIOLOGY:
Chloroplex is designed for use as a source of vitamin K (the fat-soluble portion of chlorophyll) and as a detoxifying agent. Chlorophyll's fat-soluble component has a local anti-inflammatory effect on the intestinal mucosa and is an antagonist of guanidine, a substance which can cause constriction of the intrinsic arteries of the heart itself. (Guanidine is a tissue poison which can be secreted by fatigued heart muscle). The pectin component is present so that oral administration, as has been shown in clinical and animal studies, will result in a lowering of blood and tissue cholesterol levels. Further, bacterial digestion of pectic substances in the color results in acidic end products which can retard the growth of many intestinal pathogens. Chloroplex also acts as a natural deodorant, of which it is most commonly used.

INDICATIONS:
Chloroplex is used to promote healing to combat inflammation in the conditions listed below.

Most commonly used for: body odor, breath odor of G.I. origin, odor from colostomies, or ileostomies, fecal or urinary odor due to incontinence.

Each softgel capsule contains:
Chlorophyllin 50 mg.

Other ingredients: soybean oil, vegetable cellulose.

Suggested Use:
1 or 2 caps twice daily or as directed by a doctor.
